Sleep & Stress Solutions
What's the best way to resolve sleep problems? By addressing the cause and not treating the symptoms. To properly treat sleep problems you must also address the wear and tear on the body caused by chronic sleep disturbances.
We look at what initially caused your sleep problem plus how your brain waves are "acting" when you try to turn your thoughts "off". We've found that for long term results, you must look at the brain waves, otherwise your "solution" probably won't be permanent. Do you have difficulty "turning off" your thoughts at night? Is it difficult to focus for long periods of time? Do you feel exhausted most of the time? Are you finding that your memory isn't as sharp as it used to be? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then most likely our program will be a great fit. Dr. Tarlow is available for consultations both locally and remotely to determine if her Sleep Solution is for you! Call or email to schedule at time. |
"I am a first time mom who was suffering with sleep problems, anxiety, depression, migraines, insomnia and PMDD for most of my adult life. Prior treatments of medications never helped, and some made the problems worse. I sought out Dr. Tarlow initially for acute neck and upper back pain. She suggested that my pain might be due to chronic high stress levels & offered solutions to relieve these problems. She did an amazing job helping me with my sleep & stress and then the other problems disappeared! ~ Amy B
For almost 30 years I literally never slept. Two to three hours of sleep were the norm. I felt like I had lost the ability to sleep. We began with a problem assessment process that identified long-term life stresses which had disrupted healthy sleep patterns. Her program of body/mind relaxation techniques reduced the stress scars and dramatically changed the unhealthy sleep patterns and habits. Within weeks, sleep patterns of two to three hours were replaced with norms of six hours. ~ Dan
